Peter Muir has a background in Electronics Engineering, and he has a long career in Enterprise IT&T. After studying to be a Commercial Pilot at the age of 27, Peter's main interest now is how to utilise drones to address real-world customer data requirements. Andrew Harvey from Western Drone Services has collaborated with CDS on a few projects. Andrew has a background in Civil Engineering and IT, and has experience with Pix4D. He has his own RePL, ReOC and White Card, and shares similar aspirations as CDS for his drone business. He is based in Melbourne.

Peter Reid has known the Chief Remote Pilot of CDS for many years. Peter has a love of electronics, and for inventing weird and wonderful gadgets. He worked as a fixed line Network Manager of Telstra for many years, and is now exploring new opportunities, including helping out as Ground Crew for CDS.
Ian Shaw was involved in a mutual business opportunity with the Chief Remote Pilot of CDS a few years back. Ian has had a long career in leading IT projects for multinational companies. He is now exploring new opportunities, including helping out as Ground Crew for CDS.
Susan Muir has had a long career in the Transport industry. She holds a HR license, a White Card and a Traffic Management Controller certificate. She helps out as Ground Crew for CDS.
Ground Crew responsibilities;

Spotter, to keep drone away from obstacles

Setup / dismantle pedestrian barriers, and keep people at least 30m away

Traffic spotter (light traffic scenarios), to advise pilot to move drone to safety (where the job allows this method of operation)

Liaise with traffic management controllers (heavy traffic scenarios, or where the job does not allow sufficient reaction time to move drone to safety)

Ground-based photography, as required by the job
